Liquid rose aroma oil is incredibly expensive. Alo-Alo’s Powdered Aroma challenges the notion that aromas have to be in liquid form, allowing you to easily enjoy rose fragrance. “A single bottle of natural rose aromatic oils costs hundreds of dollars, which can be prohibitively expensive, even for a therapist.

We wanted to make it easier for people to enjoy genuine rose aromas, so we considered ways to subdivide the aroma and sell it in smaller parts,” says president Asae Tsuji. Powdered Aroma was developed two years ago. During a period working as an aroma therapist, Tsuji noticed that many users were unable to finish even small bottles of aroma oil, and realized the potential in dividing the liquid into smaller parts.

“A single 5 mm liquid bottle can contain up to 100 drops, but it only takes 2 or 3 drops for a single use,” says Tsuji. Making the aroma into a powder form made it possible to provide a single-use amount at an affordable price.
“Rose fragrance was beloved by Cleopatra, and has long been used by women to maintain their sense of femininity,” says Tsuji.
“I was so happy the first time someone introduced me to the fragrance.” I want people to consider that rose-themed gifts just don’t have to be in the form of flowers,” Tsuji says, as she works to further popularize the fragrance.
“Powdered Aroma is great because it allows people to enjoy the aroma all by themselves.” Smelling the subtle scent every time you open your bag, wallet, or drawer will help relieve a little bit of stress,” says Tsuji.

The fragrance you use in your room may not be suitable in other areas. One appeal of Powdered Aroma is that it does not penetrate into the surrounding area, so you can enjoy the fragrance within your own personal space.
